In fact, it’s been “hot” for the past 5 years and it doesen’t look like it’s slowing down. With faster broadband speeds, emergence of 4G and even more Wifi coverage, we have even more opportunity to watch video, and that gives “us marketers” more opportunity to use video to grow our business.

As that is very important, I decided to put together 4 Video Marketing Tips and Tricks to help you get better results with your videos.

Here Are 4 Video Marketing Tips and Tricks For Maximum Results!

1. Have A Capture Page – This is very important. If you are going to the trouble of making videos, you will need to have some kind of page that you will be driving people to after they have watched your videos. So, for example, if you have a video on Youtube called “How To Install WordPress”, you will most likely have somewhere to take them after you have provided value in your video. It may be a wider (more advanced course) on using WordPress for example. A capture page is somewhere you can literally “capture” a prospects details in exchange for information. This way, if they don’t buy that first time (which is very likely), you can still “follow up” automatically (and on “Autopilot”) with them using your autoresponder. 2. Have A System For Recording Your Videos – First of all, you need to have some form of Video Platform for recording, uploading and tracking your results. I recommend Easy Video Suite for this. It is one of the most popular video software platforms in the industry.

Second of all, you need to have a system for how often you will record your videos, and the content that you will provide.

Top Tip: It is recommended to make your videos shorter (~5 mins). On the Internet, you have a short amount of time to capture people’s attention so try to go for a shorter video if you can. This is one of the most important Video Marketing Tips and Tricks so if you want engagement, strike quick to get attention.

3. Upload to Youtube (and beyond!)Youtube is the 2nd most popular search engine (after Google) and one of the most popular websites on the Internet. You want your video to be on Youtube! But, you can also upload it to lots of other websites. See my post here for lots of other video websites you can upload to. This will give you more backlinks (which is great for SEO) and better exposure in general.

4. Include a Call To Action – This is very much related to Tip 1 (above) of having a capture page. Throughout your video, you need a “Call To Action”. What is a Call To Action? It is simply you telling your audience what to do next. You need to do this if you want to grow your business! If you are using Video Marketing for business, you should be making sales and growing your business.

At the end of each video, say something like “If you would like further information about X”, click the link in the description to receive your Free Ebook/Video Series etc.
