What The Heck Is 888 Travel For Less?

888 Travel For Less is the current name that the company goes by, but when it was originally launched back in the middle of 2016, the business operated under the name of THW Global.

As THW Global, the company advertised the opportunity of members being able to earn $25 every single hour for doing nothing more than watching videos that they provided them with.

That may sound like an opportunity made in heaven, but not was as it seemed.

The commissions that THW Global was generating were coming by way of AdSense, and this goes completely against AdSense’s rules of not allowing it to be used as an incentive for clicking or viewing advertisements.

As one might be able to guess, THW Global wasn’t in operation for too terribly long before AdSense shut it down.

According to AdSense –

“As stated in our program policies, AdSense publishes are not permitted to place Google ads on sites with content related to programs offering incentives to click links or ads, read emails, or surf other websites.”

AdSense is one of the largest networks out there for online advertising, so it’s not surprising at all that the company caught on to THW Global’s activity that quickly. AdSense needs to maintain and uphold as much integrity and legitimacy as possible in order to succeed, and entities such as THW Global make that impossible.

Even with the clear violation of AdSense’s rules in place, THW Global released the following statement –

“During the period from August 1, 2016 through October 13, 2016 THWGlobal served over 150,000,000 (150 million) video views which consumed over 1,273 terabytes of data transfer form dozens of servers around the globe.

During the same period THWGlobal also served approximately 1,900,569,000 (1.9 Billion) impressions resulting in millions of dollars of display and video ad revenues, which was to be shared with our IV’s.

The final calculation would have potentially resulted in an average hourly rate of nearly $19 per hour for those IV that viewed and commented on the videos.”

The whole setup for what THW Global was offering didn’t really make that much sense on the surface. Why in the world would any advertising firm want to pay the company supposed “millions of dollars” in order to get traffic that wasn’t honest or legitimate in the slightest?

According to THW Global, the company was paid, “less than 2% of what was expected and the amount ultimately paid was less than 5% of the direct expenses associated with serving the videos.”

The THW Global website indicates that the company has been sold to 888 Travel For Less, saying, “They will take over the software as is, with the full 1.6 million person downline intact as it has been built from day one. We hope that all IV’s are able to take advantage of the 888TravelForLess opportunity and can move forward with the downlines you have each built.”

A man by the name of Mark Elie is listed as the official president for 888 Travel For Less, with his corporate bio saying that, “Mark has not only run and operated one of the most successful brick and mortar Travel Agencies but has also built affiliate marketing teams into the tens of thousands promoting the travel industry.”

Based off of my own research, 888 Travel For Less is Elie’s first company in which he is acting as an executive for an MLM-based opportunity.

What Can You Tell Me About The 888 Travel For Less Products?

In regards to the product line, there’s not a whole lot to talk about.

Just like THW Global before it, 888 Travel For Less doesn’t have any goods or services that are being marketed or sold to retail customers.

Affiliates have nothing more than the affiliate membership to try and sell to interested buyers, and when someone does decide that they’d like to join said membership, they are then required to buy access to travel package discounts for $100.

What Can You Tell Me About The 888 Travel For Less Compensation Plan?

When it comes to making money with 888 Travel For Less, you’re tasked with recruiting as many people as you can to join the company and purchase that $100 travel discount package.

A commission of $50 is paid for every affiliate that you recruit to purchase the $100 package, and you can increase your overall earning potential in the company by progressing through the available affiliate ranks.

Residual commissions are also present and handled via a unilevel system, and these are paid down to up to 10 levels depending your rank.

Are There Membership Fees For 888 Travel For Less?

If you’re interested in becoming an affiliate for 888 Travel For Less, the membership itself is initially free. However, after your first year with the company, you’ll need to pay $79.95/year going forward.

What’s your Conclusion About 888 Travel For Less?

Just like THW Global before it, there isn’t anything honest about the way 888 Travel For Less is being run.

Every single penny of money that makes its way into the company is sourced directly form its own affiliates, with the official website for 888 Travel For Less stating that, “Independent Sales Associates (ISA) can purchase our travel Memberships package directly from the company at a wholesale discount of 33% off of the suggested retail price.”

Want to purchase that travel discount package as a normal retail customer? Sorry, that’s impossible. You are required to purchase that package on a yearly basis from another affiliate for the low cost of $149 every single year.

The package is initially purchased for the cost of $100, and that $100 is then turned around to pay affiliates for all of their recruitment commissions.

The closed-loop nature of the company is even acknowledged by 888 Travel For Less, with its site reading –

“The goal with the plan is to refer a large number of ISA in your frontline and teach them to do the same. The more ISA you refer, the bigger your commission check with be.”

888 Travel For Less is focused on recruitment and recruitment alone, and this will ultimately be the death of the company once this activity eventually dies down.

Any affiliates who have yet to earn back that initial payment of $500 or so will end up losing out once recruitment activity slows to a crawl, and Mark Elie and any other admins for 888 Travel For Less will earn the lion’s share of all the money that’s dumped into the company.

I hope that you are able to use my research in my 888 Travel For Less Review to make a decision.
