What Is Do You Bake?

Do you bake? If so, you just might be interested in what this latest MLM opportunity, Do You Bake?, has to offer.

After viewing the company’s website, there seems to be a bit of confusion in regards to the background info for this particular opportunity. There’s a section of the website that’s titled “our company”, but for some reason this provides information for a company by the name of “Crave It.”

From what I was able to tell, Crave It is another MLM opportunity that launched back in 2015 and is some sort of “sister company” towards Do You Bake?.

As per the Do You Bake? website, “Launched just in 2015 A new Sister Brand to Do You Bake?, endorsed by the pros & available only through our network of Ambassadors. Shop for Crave It products and Do You Bake? products in one place!”

In regards to the owner of Do You Bake?, the only name I was able to find is someone who calls herself “Jenn.” Jenn is supposedly the co-founder for the company, and the only information provided about her on the Do You Bake? website is the fact that she has a “love of food.”

After researching Jenn a bit more, I was able to discover that her full name is Jenn Williams. Williams’ LinkedIn page has her identified as the “owner” for Do You Bake?, but that’s it. There isn’t any other information available on Jenn Williams outside of her involvement with Do You Bake?, and the same goes for the other co-founders that likely exist within the company.

Going back to the actual website for Do You Bake?, the domain name was registered back in February of 2010 and then launched a few months after that. Unfortunately, due to the private registration, there isn’t any info provided in regards to who the owner of the domain is or where the registration took place.

Do You Bake Scam

What Products Are Being Sold?

Do You Bake? has switched up their available product line quite a bit since they first launched back in 2010, so the one that I’ve listed here today is for their 2015 – 2016 catalog.

Not all of the available products have been listed here, but some of the most popular and notable ones include –

  • Spice blends for around $7
  • Bread mixes between $7.75 and $8.75
  • Soups for around $10
  • Cookies for around $8
  • Waffles and muffins between $7.25 and $8.50
  • Slow-cooker bases between $6.95 and $8.95
  • Marinades and sauces between $8.50 and $10.50

In addition to the more traditional products, Do You Bake? also has options available that are gluten-free and even ones for pet treats.

What’s worth noting here is that Do You Bake? appears to change their available products quite a bit, and this is done in an attempt to keep the available product line fresh and exciting for both affiliates and regular customers.

Info On The Do You Bake Comp Plan

Moving over to the compensation plan side of things, affiliates are able to get compensated for selling Do You Bake’s? products to retail customers. Additionally, there is also money to be made through residual commissions that are paid out to affiliate through five levels of a unilevel system.

Retail Commissions

Taking a look at retail commissions, affiliates are able to earn retail sales commissions of up to 37% for all of the sales that they make.

In regards to the actual payout rate, this is entirely dependent on the rank that an affiliate has within the company. Higher affiliate ranks are obtained by higher retail sales and recruiting more people to join your downline, so while retail commissions do start out at 20%, you should be able to quickly get that amount increase to 37% with a bit of hard work and dedication.

Residual Commissions

Like I mentioned above, residual commissions are also available through the use of a unilevel system. Similar to how retail sales work out, higher residual commissions are also available as you get higher and higher ranks within the company.

You start out as a Bronze Ambassador by earning just 1% on level 1 affiliates, but increasing your rank will allow you to earn not only a higher percentage, but earn on more levels as well.

What Will It Cost Me To Join Do You Bake?

If you’d like to become an affiliate for Do You Bake?, the actual membership itself is free. The free membership comes with a one-time coupon of 50% off an order of up to $400 in value, but in addition to this, you can also sign up for Do You Bake? with one of the three available starter kits.

The available starter kits include –

  • Just A Taste Start Up Kit = $49.95
  • Crave It Start Up Kit = $69.96
  • Extreme Baker Start Up Kit = $185

Purchasing a Start Up Kit will allow you to get an assortment of Do You Bake? products, and the idea here is that these kits will help you hit the ground running as an affiliate for the company.

Also worth noting here is that while you won’t have to pay any fees for the first three months as an affiliate for Do You Bake?, you will be required to cover a $10 fee every four months after that point.

Any Truth To The Do You Bake Rumours?

Any time a new business opportunity launches, you will always hear rumours about them being scams – so is Do You Bake a scam?

From reading above, you might already be thinking Do You Bake is a scam.

So, is it?

Is there a Do You Bake scam, or is it legit?

To be honest, Do You Bake isn’t a complete scam.

However, there are some red flags to be worried about, which I discuss in the conclusion.

See my tips below for helping to make money.

And Now, My Do You Bake Conclusion

Whether you like to bake, eat tasty food, or get signed up with solid MLM opportunities, there’s a lot to like here with Do You Bake?

The company’s product line looks extremely enticing, and while you’ll certainly want to test out some of the products for yourself before you fully commit to selling them to other people, the overall presentation and pricing seems quite nice.

The compensation plan also looks very fair, with a great deal of emphasis being placed on retail sales. Earning as much as a 37% commission for all retail sales is incredibly exciting, and while there is a noticeable lack of available bonuses here, this is likely a result of the higher retail commissions being offered.

Something worth pointing out is the high qualification that needs to be met in order to earn on residual commissions. Do You Bake? requires that you recruit at least three other affiliates before you can start earning on these, and while you do need to recruit at least someone in order to earn on residual commissions, a minimum of three people seems a bit high.

If everything here looks good to you, I’d first recommend ordering a few product samples to see if they live up to the beautiful presentation that Do You Bake? has created for them. If they do, and you feel that this sort of setup would be good for you, there’s a chance to make quite a bit of money as an affiliate for Do You Bake?.

Good luck!
