What The Heck Is BTChamp?

BTChamp is the name of the latest MLM opportunity that’s up my full and in-depth review treatment, and according to the company’s official website, the company’s sole admin is someone by the name of Navakantha Rao.

The site indicates that Rao is based out of India, and seeing as how Rao is the only admin for BTChamp, it’s quite likely that this is where the company is solely based out of.

If Rao’s name sounds at all familiar to you, that’s because this isn’t their first rodeo in the world of MLM.

Back in September of last year (2016), Navakantha Rao was seen promoting the company ZarFund, and this was quickly discovered to be nothing more than a cash gifting scheme that used bitcoin for all transactions.

In addition to ZarFund, Rao was also involved with the Ponzi scheme Power Hashing earlier in 2016.

Rao certainly doesn’t have the best MLM background ever, but at the very least, it’s incredibly telling of what to expect with BTChamp.

What Are The BTChamp Products?

Taking a look at the product line, there’s really not a lot to talk about with BTChamp.

In this case, we’re dealing with an MLM opportunity that’s making an attempt to succeed without any real sort of product line in place at all, and that’s a move that never works in the long haul.

No product line means that affiliates don’t have goods or services to market and sell to retail customers, but even more serious, there’s a complete absence of retail sales within the business model for BTChamp.

This is a move that’s quite common in the MLM underbelly, and it’s usually only ever seen with opportunities that are operating as some form of scheme or scam.

What About The Compensation Plan For BTChamp?

Moving over to the compensation plan, affiliates for BTChamp are able to earn money by first gifting bitcoin to one another through the use of a 2 x 6 matrix system.

The 2 x 6 matrix system that BTChamp is using sees each individual level acting as its own separate thing, and affiliates get started with the whole thing by first gifting 0.0005 BTC to the person that initially recruited them to join the company.

Once this payment has been successfully received, the affiliate that gifted it is then eligible to receive 0.0005 BTC from two other affiliates that are subsequently recruited to join BTChamp.

This same general process goes on for a total of six levels, and they all work out in the following manner. In addition to the first level that I just outlined, the other five levels consist of the following –

  • Level 2 sees affiliates gifting 0.0009 BTC in order to receive the same amount from four other members
  • Level 3 sees affiliates gifting 0.003 BTC in order to receive the same amount from eight other members
  • Level 4 sees affiliates gifting 0.014 BTC in order to receive the same amount from sixteen other members
  • Level 5 sees affiliates gifting 0.15 BTC in order to receive the same amount from thirty-two other members
  • Level 6 sees affiliates gifting 1.8 BTC in order to receive the same amount from sixty-four other affiliates

Something worth noting here is the fact that all of the gifting payments within BTChamp are recurring on a basis of 180 days.

What’s The Cost Of Joining BTChamp?

If you’d for some reason like to join BTChamp as an affiliate, you’ll need to gift a bare minimum of 0.0005 BTC to the affiliate that recruited you to join the opportunity every 180 days in order to keep receiving your earnings.

With that said, full participation in the compensation plan will require you to increase your gifting amount every 180 days up to 1.9684 BTC.

So, Is There A BTChamp Scam Going On?

Finally, My BTChamp Review And Conclusion!

Taking a look at that Facebook profile for Rao, the man describes BTChamp as a form of “P2P Member to Member Donation System.”

As a general rule of thumb, any mention of the phrase “member to member” or “peer to peer” is a telling sing of a cash gifting scheme in the world of MLM. And, after looking through what BTChamp is bringing to the table, it’s quite obvious that that’s what’s taking place here.

Affiliates join the company by gifting money to other members, and this gift payment then entitles them to receive gift payments of their own from other affiliates.

This is cash gifting at its core, and it’s a form of scam in the MLM underbelly.

Once recruitment levels die down for BTChamp, affiliates will stop getting the money that they’re expecting, and this will then cause for a complete and total collapse of the opportunity.

As per the BTChamp website, “We reserve the right to add or remove features and modify any functionality, make changes on how the platform works, manage memberships, within BTChamp, and otherwise make changes to the service and this agreement without notice.”

Additionally, “All donations you willingly and directly send to a fellow participant are final. No refunds.”

In other words, once the company comes to a complete collapse, Rao will make off with the lion’s share of the money that’s been dumped into the opportunity and leave everyone else to end up losing out with no chance of recovering lost funds.
