What The Heck Is USI-Tech?

Poor USI-Tech. The company seems to have been hit with warning after warning from regulators throughout this entire week, and that trend continues with the New Brunswick Financial Consumer Services Commission issuing an investor warning against USI-Tech.

The New Brunswick Financial Consumer Services Commissions is dubbing this warning as a fraud alert, and it reports USI-Tech as being:

“an online Forex and Bitcoin trading platform provider, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

USI-Tech claims to provide automated trading software that allows smaller investors to trade in FOREX and purchase Bitcoin investment packages.

It advertises high rates of return and promises a pyramid-like compensation structure to get people to recruit family and friends to invest.”

The FCSC is the official securities regulator in New Brunswick, and although USI-Tech is offering securities to citizens in the area, it’s failed to registered itself with the FCSC.

As you might expect, this is an issue.

The FCSC continues by saying:

“USI is not registered to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in New Brunswick.

USI-Tech Scam

We strongly urge New Brunswickers to avoid dealing with firms that are not registered to trade or advise in New Brunswick.”

In regards to the business model being used by USI-Tech, FCSC says it’s:

“A Ponzi scheme pays fake investment returns to investors.  The money for these fake returns comes from new investors buying into the scam.

A pyramid scheme requires you to recruit new people into the scheme in order to earn money.”

USI-Tech was discovered to be a pyramid scheme scheme back towards the end of 2016, and when the company adjusted its model to offer BTC Packs, it transitioned to that of a Ponzi scheme.

Any residents of New Brunswick that have invested in USI-Tech or have been encouraged to do so are asked to contact the FCSC through its official website.

New Brunswick is following in the footsteps of the British Columbia Securities Commission and the Securities Board of Texas in the United States with this warning, and with enough areas putting the heat on USI-Tech, hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer for this scheme to collapse.
