What The Heck Is GroceryBit?

In the case of GroceryBit, we’re dealing with an MLM opportunity that finds itself within the niche of e-commerce.

GroceryBit’s website touts an address over in Arizona in the United States, but a quick Google search reveals that there are a number of other companies claiming to operate at the same location.

Three men are shown on the site to make up GroceryBit’s executive team, including Steve Gewecke, Jason Olson, and Frederick Weih.

Frederick Weih is said to have founded a company called My Freedom Grocer back in 2015, but it was quick to collapse not even a year later.

Cash rebates were one of the big incentives for affiliates with My Freedom Grocer, but according to one review, these stopped being paid out to members a few months prior to the company’s demise:

“And yes … I’m getting my 10% cash back every month.

[Update: I was getting cash backs for many months. The check below was a real check. But they have fallen several months behind on checks since then.

I hope for all involved that they are able to catch back up and make the most of this.]”

Jason Olson found himself doing promotion for Direct Cellars and Youngevity before joining GroceryBit, and Steve Gewecke was last seen acting as the Marketing Director for the Ponzi scheme Savian back in 2015.

If Gewecke’s name sounds familiar to you, that’s because he’s got a fairly lengthy history when it comes to the MLM underbelly.

In 2012, the man was discovered to be the VIP Founder for US Utility Direct. A couple years later in August of 2014, Gewecke was spotted as the President for MyNyloxin — an opportunity in which affiliates were asked to pay between $300 and $1500 and then recruit other people to do the same thing.

If you try visiting the MyNyloxin website today, you’ll see that it’s not responsive.

What Are The GroceryBit Products?

Looking at the product line that GroceryBit has to offer, the company promotes a mobile app through which users can scan and upload any receipts they get from supermarkets, gas stations, and restaurants.

Once these receipts are obtained by GroceryBit, users are then told that they’ll receive a certain cash back for their purchase.

People that use the GroceryBit app are seen by the company as “Grocery Miners”, and having the privilege of being one will set you back $40/month.

According to GroceryBit, its members are guaranteed to get cash rebates up to $200 each and every month.

What About The Compensation Plan For GroceryBit?

When it comes to the MLM side of GroceryBit, this has absolutely nothing to do with the mobile app mentioned above.

Recruitment commissions are the name of the game when it comes to GroceryBit’s MLM side, and direct commissions are offered here are you keep recruiting people through a unilevel system.

As you keep recruiting affiliates and GroceryMiners, you can earn $25 on all three levels of the unilevel setup being used.

GroceryBit also has a 2×12 matrix system through which you canearn residual recruitment commissions.
