What Is Herbalife?

Herbalife is currently one of the leaders in the MLM space for the niche of health/nutrition, and it recently held an event in Los Angeles where it hosted over 2,500 of its independent distributors and leaders from all across the globe.

Los Angeles is where Herbalife was founded back in 1980, so the location had strong sentimental value. The main focus for the event was to educate distributors about how to excel with their work, and one of the highlights included a keynote from CEO Rich Goudis.

During his speech, Goudis said:

“The theme of this year’s Honors event is ‘Be the Difference,’ and that’s what these amazing distributor leaders exemplify — creating inspiring results for a better life through nutrition and opportunity.

In addition to this, Goudis continued with:

“The world-class education, training and personal development received this weekend is designed to inspire and motivate our distributors to continue leading their organizations to fulfill our purpose of making the world healthier and happier.”

Herbalife spent time talking about how its products are helping people from all walks of life, including those that are obese, older shoppers, people that have to deal with high healthcare costs, and much more.

There’s been a lot of time and money invested by Herbalife over the past year into better-educating its staff on a wide array of topics, and so far the investment seems to really be paying off.

Attendees of the event were able to choose what classes they wanted to take, and this is a result of Herbalife trying to mimic a university-like experience.

We’ll likely see many more events like this over the next couple years, and it’ll be interesting to see how these have an impact on Herbalife going forward.
