What The Heck Is Hidden Gem?

Upon first glance, the Hidden Gem website offers hardly any background information at all.

Info on who owns the company, where it’s located, or who originally founded it are all missing, and something like this is never a good sign when dealing with an MLM opportunity.

Along with this, the private nature of the domain name registration doesn’t help either. It’s easy to find out that the domain was registered on February 3, 2017, but there’s currently no way of telling who the owner is or where they are based out of.

While roadblocks like the are never fun to deal with, I was able to finally associate a name with Hidden Gem.

A promotional video for the company is currently uploaded to a YouTube channel with an account name of “Dana Owens.”

If that name sounds familiar to you, that’s because Owens has been active within the MLM underbelly since last year with the launch of the Connect 4 Ponzi scheme.

I tried accessing the Connect 4 website while conducting this review, but it is currently unresponsive — likely due to the fact that the company has since collapsed.

Along with Connect 4, Dana Owens has also been involved with Vida Divina, Nspire Network, iPro Network, and The Billion Coin.

What Can You Tell Me About The Hidden Gem Products?

Similar to lots of other MLM startups that I’ve been reviewing lately, Hidden Gem doesn’t have any formal product line to speak of.

There are zero products or services being sold to retail customers, and this creates for a total lack of any activity in regards to retail sales.

Affiliates for Hidden Gem have nothing more than the affiliate membership to try and sell to individuals that might be interested in it, and when someone does decide to become a member, they are granted access to both ad credits and a library of eBooks.

What Can You Tell Me About The Hidden Gem Compensation Plan?

On the money-making side of things, Hidden Gem requires affiliates to gift money to one another through the use of a 2×5 matrix system.

The use of a matrix setup is quite common when funds are gifted between members, so there’s nothing all that special about the way Hidden Gem is being operated.

When affiliates first get started with their membership, they are required to gift $1 to the member that initially got them to join Hidden Gem. After sending this payment out, that new affiliate is then eligible to receive $1 from two other individuals that they recruit to join the income opportunity as well.

As for the remaining four levels, they work out as follows —

  • Level 2 requires affiliates to gift $2 so that they may receive the same amount from four other members
  • Level 3 requires affiliates to gift $6 so that they may receive the same amount from eight other members
  • Level 4 requires affiliates to gift $20 so that they may receive the same amount from sixteen other members
  • Level 5 requires affiliates to gift $120 so that they may receive the same amount from thirty-two other members

Are There Membership Fees For Hidden Gem?

If you’ve read through all of this information and are curious as to what it costs to become an affiliate for Hidden Gem, here’s what it essentially breaks down to.

The smallest amount of money that you need to gift in order to get started with your affiliate membership is $1. However, if you’d really like to increase your income potential within the compensation plan, you’ll need to increase that gift amount to as much as $149.

Is Hidden Gem A Scam?

If you’ve come across a review that says Hidden Gem is a scam while researching, I wouldn’t be surprised.

A lot of marketers will tell you something is a scam just so they can sell you something else.

So, can you trust those other reviews?

What is the truth about Hidden Gem? Is it really a scam, or is it legit?

I would say no, not exactly. However, there are a few things in the business you should be aware of – read on to the conclusion to find out what they are.

What’s your Conclusion About Hidden Gem?

As per the official Hidden Gem website, the company is a, “member to member platform paid directly to your sponsor or upline.”

The good old “member to member” phrase. If you ever come across those three words when looking at a new business opportunity, you’re pretty much guaranteed to be dealing with some sort of cash gifting scheme.

In the case of Hidden Gem, that’s exactly what we’re dealing with.

Affiliates join Hidden Gem by gifting money to other members in order to get something in return, and it’s pretty much as simple as you can get when it comes to these type of scams.

The top spots within the matrix system have been preloaded by Dana Owens so that she can earn the majority of all the cash that’s dumped into her company, and this will result in her reaping most of the rewards while everyone else either earns a couple of dollars or loses out.

This is how all cash gifting schemes go, and once recruitment activity dries up, Hidden Gem will be faced with a complete collapse of all operations.

Dana Owns will then make off with whatever money she’s earned, maybe lay low for a little bit, and then go about with another scam to solicit even more cash.

I hope that you are able to use my research in my Hidden Gem Review to make a decision.
