What Is Multipure?

Taking a look at Multipure, this is a company that was first founded back in 1970 by the brothers Allen Rice and Alvin Rice.

Both Allen and Alvin ran Multipure up until 2015, as this was the year that Allen passed away.

At this day in 2017, Multipure is being run by Alvin Rice who’s acting as CEO. The company is based out of Nevada in the United States, and as per Rice’s bio on Multipure’s website:

“For over 40 years, Alvin Rice has been leading and operating Multipure with his brother, H. Allen Rice. In 1970, at the age of 22, Alvin co-founded Multipure.

Alvin has spent his entire career dedicated to the operation and growth of Multipure, overseeing everything from Manufacturing, to Marketing, to Business Operations.

He is incredibly proud to work with family, and has educated his son and daughter-in-law with all the knowledge and experience that he has learned in his years building and developing Multipure.”

Multipure’s President is Zachary Rice, and Zachary’s wife, Jennifer, is the company’s Executive Vice-President.

What Products Are Being Sold?

In regards to Multipure’s product line, the year 1970 saw the release of the company’s flagship product. This item was touted as a, “revolutionary solid carbon block filter”, and even in 2017, Multipure claims that the technology behind this product has, “yet to be surpassed.”

On the Multipure website, it’s stated that, “Multipure believes that everyone should have affordable access to high quality drinking water — water that is clean, delicious, and healthful; water that is free of contaminants that could negatively affect its taste, its appearance, and its healthfulness; water that is perfect for families, children, and pets.”

Multipure’s website shows a number of different products that are available for purchase, and all of them serve the same general purpose of filtering water so that it’s more enjoyable and healthier to drink.

Info On The Multipure Comp Plan

As for the compensation plan, affiliates for Multipure are able to earn money whenever they make retail sales. Additionally, residual commissions are paid to affiliates through the use of a unilevel system.

MLM Commission Qualification

In order to officially qualify for MLM commissions, Multipure affiliates must be able to generate a minimum of $165 worth of PV (personal volume) over the course of 4 months.

As per the Multipure compensation plan, “Products that count toward (MLM commission qualification) include Drinking Water Systems, Drinking Water System Starter Kits, the Ultimate Business Builder Kit, and Multipure Home essentials.”

Retail Commissions

When it comes to retail commissions, affiliates are paid a commission whenever they sell a water filter to someone that isn’t an affiliate for the company.

For no apparent reason, Multipure doesn’t mention the percentage affiliates earn for their retail commission based off of their rank within the company. However, what is worth noting is that affiliates with a higher rank can earn a commission that’s the difference between their own rank rate and what lower-ranked affiliate are earning from their sales.

Residual Commission

As mentioned above, residual commissions are paid through the use of a unilevel system.

Multipure pays down to nine levels of recruitment, and you earn more on residual commissions as your rank with Multipure gets higher and higher.

What Will It Cost Me To Join Multipure?

If you would like to join Multipure, you’ll need to complete a, “Builder application form” in addition to purchasing one of the following, “drinking water systems”:

  • Aquadome Starter Kit for $440
  • Aquaversa Starter Kit for $655
  • Aquaperform Starter Kit for $770
  • Ultimate Business Builder Kit for $1850

The main difference between these four kits is the type of water filter system that comes bundled with them.

Any Truth To The Multipure Rumours?

Any time a new business opportunity launches, you will always hear rumours about them being scams – so is Multipure a scam?

From reading above, you might already be thinking Multipure is a scam.

So, is it?

Is there a Multipure scam, or is it legit?

To be honest, Multipure isn’t a complete scam.

However, there are some red flags to be worried about, which I discuss in the conclusion.

See my tips below for helping to make money.

And Now, My Multipure Conclusion

Whenever reviewing older MLM companies, there’s always the chance that the compensation plan is going to be outdated and difficult to read through.

Thankfully, this is not the case with Multipure.

The company’s comp plan is very easy to understand, and it’s one of the more straightforward ones I’ve read in some time.

Moving through higher ranks is done by building up more personal volume, and this is achieved by making more and more retail sales.

You could technically purchase product for yourself to qualify for commissions, but I find it hard to believe that someone would be willing to buy water filters upon water filters to achieve this.

Affiliates are required to purchase water filtration systems upon joining, but the have the option to choose what system they’d like to receive. Only offering one type of filter would have created for a “pay to play” theme, but that’s thankfully not the case here.

If you’re considering becoming an affiliate, there are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind — most importantly, the conditions of drinking water in your local area.

Locations where the natural water has a tendency to be worse is where you’ll succeed the most, so if you live in an area that already has great tap or well water, this might not be the best fit.

As long as you’ve got an interested market, know how to close sales, and have an interest in the water filters being sold, there’s a good chance here to make some decent money.

I hope you have gained value from my Multipure Review.

I have put all the details you need to know here, because all other reviews of Multipure have been fairly limited with details.
