What Is The Neora Opportunity?

No matter what business you’re talking about, rebrands are a great way to revitalize interest and relevancy for a company for a variety of different reasons. We see rebrands happen quite often in the MLM space, and most recently, the latest company to do this is Nerium International.

Nerium International has confirmed that, as of February 1, it will officially change its name to that of “Neora.” According to Nerium’s Founder and CEO, Jeff Olson:

“Neora represents a new beginning for us as a company.”

“We’re taking all of the experience we’ve gained in the previous seven years, hitting the reset button, and creating something even better.”

Under the new Neora brand, the company will push forward with a new, modern aesthetic and a compensation plan that’s been redesigned from the ground up to be more forward-thinking and easy to understand. Adding to that, Neora wants to do a better job at rewarding its affiliates for their continued hard work for the company.

Neora’s Co-CEO, Deborah Heisz, says “We’re proud of our high customer-to-distributor ratio.”

Neora Scam

That’s all fine and dandy, but of all names, why “Neora”?

When Nerium International first launched back in 2011, the company’s main product contained an ingredient known as “nerium oleandrin extract.” Seeing as how that was such an important component of the company’s first product, the name just made sense.

However, with Nerium International expanding its product line over the years to sell a variety of new items, the name doesn’t have as much meaning as it once did.

On top of that, Neora has been doing a lot of work lately to reimagine its product packaging so that it’s recyclable and as harmless on the planet as possible.

With so many changes taking place, the name “Neora” was decided on as it represents a new beginning and a new aura of energy. It embodies a lot more than a single ingredient being used in a single product, and as such, just makes sense for the brand as a whole going forward.

Per Jeff Olson:

“The new name of Neora better describes what we are as a company now, and where we expect to go in the next several years. We have evolved into a company that is so much more than one ingredient.”

MLM rebrands are pretty common in this space, but I have to say that this is one of the most meaningful I’ve seen in a while. Neora is kicking the new year off right with a reimagined name, updated compensation plan, and is setting itself up to be better prepared for any other changes it sees down the road.

As far as rebrands go, this is certainly one of the better ones I’ve ever seen.

Neora is currently scheduled to hold its annual “Get Real” affiliate conference between April 25 and 27 in Nashville, Tennessee in the United States, and I expect we’ll get even more announcements from the company there about anything else it has in store of 2019.
