I want to make it clear I am NOT promoting this business opportunity as an affiliate or distributor in any way.

I have done all my research in this NHT Global review do you can learn the honest truth and decide if it’s right for you.

Can it really deliver on it’s promises?

Let me tell you in my Review NHT Global.

Let’s get started.

Seriously, What Is NHT Global?

NHT Global first launched way back in 2001 by its Founder Terry LaCore. Back then, NHT Global went by the name of Lexxus International.

NHT Global operates as a subsidiary of National Health Trends Corp., and to not much surprise, finds home in the niches of personal care, health, and nutrition.

President Chris Sharng is currently leading NHT Global, with his corporate bio on the National Health Trends website saying:

“Mr. Sharng was appointed President of NHTC in February 2007.

He previously served as Executive Vice President and CFO of NHTC from August 2004 to February 2007, and during that time he also performed functions of the principal executive officer.

Prior to NHTC, Mr. Sharng held management positions at NorthPole Limited as CFO, Ultrak Inc. as Senior Vice President and CFO, and Mattel, Inc. as Vice President of International Finance.”

Based on the info I was able to dig up, it would appear that NHT Global is the first MLM opportunity that Sharng has been a part of.

Going back to 2006, the SEC began investigating NHT Global when it was still operating under the Lexxus International name.

The SEC didn’t actually take any action against the company, but it did issue a file of security fraud against the company’s founder Terry LaCore. Following this, the President at the time, Mark Woodburn, was replaced with someone else.

An audit investigation was then issued on Lexxus International, and after this, both LaCore and Woodburn decided to leave the company.

Once this commotion died down, Lexxus International made its rebrand to NHT Global.

Under the new NHT Global name, the company filed a lawsuit against LaCore, saying that he was guilty of —

“unlawful acts, including employee raiding, theft of confidential information and trade secrets, tortious interference and unfair competition.”

Despite these heavy claims, NHT Global eventually stopped paying the lawyers it had hired and the suit was dropped.

Fast forward a few years to 2016, and this is when NHT Global got hit with a lawsuit from Wang Juan and Manh Dao — two shareholders of the company. The suit was filed as a result of NHT Global violating securities laws in the U.S., noting:

“statements concerning NHTC’s business in China and compliance with Chinese laws, between March 6, 2015 and March 15, 2016.

Specifically, the complaint alleges that the defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that:

(1) the operations of Natural Health Trends’ Chinese entity is not in compliance with applicable Chinese laws; and

(2) as a result, the defendants’ statements about Natural Health Trends’ business, operations, and prospects, were false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.”

A bit later in July of 2017, NHT Global decided that it would settle the suit for a whopping $1.75 million.

What Products Does NHT Global Sell?

Switching gears and looking at the product line that’s offered, NHT Global sells a variety of different items with a focus on lifestyle, beauty, herbal, and more.

Per NHT Global’s site:

“On Monday, January 22, 2001, NHT Global, Inc. launched with the product we now call Alura.

After just 48 hours on the market, sales of this one-of-a-kind product topped $500,000 U.S.”

It’d take far too long to go through every single product that NHT Global sells, so if you’re interested in checking it out for yourself, full details and retail pricing can be found on the NHT Global website.

Info On The NHT Global Compensation Plan

In regards to the compensation plan NHT Global offers, things are pretty easy to understand. A three-tier unilevel system and a residual binary setup are used to organized payments that are made to affiliates, and unlike many other entities in this field, commissions are only generated on retail sales and orders made by other affiliates.

Before you starting earning, however, you’ll need to qualify for the commissions.

NHT Global requires that all affiliates generate a minimum of 90 Personal Volume each month, meaning you’ll need to be an active seller in order to stay with the company.

How Much To Join NHT Global?

Should you be interested in joining NHT Global for yourself, you’ll need to pay a membership fee of $75. Once 60 days have passed, you’ll then need to hand over a monthly fee of $9.95 to keep your membership going.

NHT Global also offers Business Builder Packages that you can purchase upon joining/ these packages come with waived fees and extra products, with prices ranging from $180 at the cheapest to as much as $2288.

Seriously, Is NHT Global A Scam Or Is This Legit?

As I am sure you have heard with most business opportunities, there are a lot of scams on the internet, and NHT Global might be a scam with them.

Having read the review above, you might be wondering if NHT Global is legit or completely a scam.

So, is it a scam?

Is NHT Global a scam, or can you make a proper business with it?

Honestly, NHT Global isn’t a scam, but there are definitely some things to be aware of (see the conclusion section).

Here’s My NHT Global Final Thoughts!

On the surface, NHT Global can look like an enticing opportunity.

The company’s got a varied product line and simple enough comp plan, but as you dig deeper, there are some red flags you run into.

When you take the Business Builder Packages into account, it becomes rather clear that NHT Global wants you to focus your efforts on buying one of its more expensive tiers and then recruiting other people to do the same thing.

Along with introducing an essence of “pay to play”, it also brings up the makings of a recruitment scheme.

Furthermore, NHT Global also requires members to sign up for an autoship order of 35 BV every single month if you’re not making $500 or more — once again forcing products on people that they really don’t have a genuine interest in.

You could try your hand at NHT Global while focusing solely on retail and nothing more, but at the end of the day, the extra hassle that comes with that may not be worth it.
