What Can You Tell Me About Now Mining?

Now Mining uses its website to claim that it’s being run out of London in the United Kingdom, and while this might look legitimate at first, it doesn’t seem to be all that accurate.

A search for “Now Mining” doesn’t show anything at all that’s been incorporated in the UK by that name, and along with this, you won’t find any contact information on Now Mining’s site.

The domain name for the website (nowmining.com) was first registered on July 27, 2017. Unfortunately, since the registration was done privately, it’s impossible to tell where it took place or who owns the domain.

Now Mining touts that its CEO is Luis Ortega, and from what I can tell, the man resides in Arizona in the United States with no prior experience or history in the MLM space.

A grand opening for Now Mining took place on December 9, 2017 over in Phoenix, Arizona, and according to Alexa rankings, the United States accounts for the most Now Mining traffic at 64%.

Also worth mentioning is that Now Mining recently held a conference call that was run and hosted by Oz Fuentes. Fuentes stated in the conference call that he also lives in Phoenix and that he’s been in the MLM space for over ten years now.

Following this, Fuentes went on to explain the Now Mining business model.

At the four minute and twenty-three second marker, Fuentes says the following:

“I found out that Luis had been working with Genesis Mining for about three years.

He’s been consulting for them, Genesis Mining. And he was chosen to be the President of CEO of Now Mining, who is the marketing arm for Genesis Mining.

Genesis Mining is a four year old company, debt free.

They’re worth about two billion dollars. They’ve mined about a hundred thousand bitcoin so far.

And they decided to launch their network marketing arm, Now Mining.”

I made an attempt to verify this info outside of this one claim, but I couldn’t see any connection between Luis Ortega and Now Mining with Genesis Mining.

It’s technically possible that there’s a relationship here I’m just missing, but the fact that Genesis Mining makes absolutely no mention of Now Mining definitely causes for some suspicious surrounding this whole thing.

Now Mining Scam

Does Now Mining Offer Any Products?

In regards to its product line, Now Mining has nothing to show for itself.

No goods or services are being sold to retail customers, and this means you won’t find any trace of retail sales activity.

The only thing that affiliates have to offer is the affiliate membership itself, and the biggest draw to this is the attached income opportunity.

What Kind Of Compensation Plan Does Now Mining Have?

With this income opportunity, affiliates are asked to invest as much as $100,000 so they can get their hands on a daily ROI that’s paid out for a total of 280 days.

There are a few different investment tiers to choose from, and they include the following:

  • 1/30 Mine – Invest $100
  • 1/6 Mine – Invest $500
  • 1/3 Mine – Invest $1000
  • 1K Mine – Invest $3000
  • 5K Mine – Invest $5000
  • 10K Mine – Invest $10,000
  • 15K Mine – Invest $15,000
  • 20K Mine – Invest $20,000
  • 30K Mine – Invest $30,000
  • 50K Mine – Invest $50,000
  • 100K Mine – Invest $100,000

Now Mining doesn’t exactly mention specific ROI rates, but according to Fuentes, affiliates are paid about 1% each day.

As such, Now Mining is promoting a total ROI of 280% once all is said and done.

What Is The Cost Of Membership With Now Mining?

You can join Now Mining for free, but if you do this, you’ll be limited to earning on only the referral and residual commissions that are being offered.

In order to earn on these and the ROIs mentioned above, you’ll need to make an investment of at least $100.

Should I Be Worried About A Now Mining Scam?

Every business opportunity on the web has good reviews and bad reviews – so is Now Mining really a scam?

Is there a Now Mining scam or is this business legit?

If I am being honest, I’d say it’s not really a scam, but there are some important points to be aware of.

Learning the business weaknesses and having a strong marketing strategy is what will make you successful.

Conclusion for Now Mining

Going back to Oz Fuentes in the conference call, he describes the contracts being offered by Now Mining in the following manner:

“[8:43] After nine months not only will you make your money back in bitcoin mining, but you’ll triple it… almost triple it.

And if you’re blessed, you’ll even quadruple it.

[9:23] The five thousand dollar mining contract will allow you to make about fifty dollars a day.

And if you multiply fifty dollars times two hundred and eighty days, you’re talking about a fifteen thousand to eighteen thousand dollar return.

[10:51] There’s no real-estate investment that you can purchase at a hundred thousand dollars that will make you three hundred thousand dollars … within nine months.

There’s no investment out there, there’s no bonds, there’s no stocks – there’s nothing out there that will triple your money within nine months at all.”

What’s important to take note of here is the word “security.” This means affiliates are making investments to earn an ROI, and when this happens, businesses need to be registered with the countries they’re offering these in to be legal operations.

To not much surprise, Now Mining isn’t registered at all with the SEC to offer securities to citizens in the United States.

In other words, Now Mining is operating as an illegal entity.

When you combine this with the presence of a pyramid setup thanks to the residual and referral commission handling, you end up with an opportunity that can only create for bad news should you choose to get wrapped up with it.
