What The Heck Is OneCoin?

OneCoin’s been causing havoc in the MLM underbelly for quite some time now, but even with so much time passing since its launch, Portugal’s main financial regulator recently issued the company an official warning.

Banco de Portugal issued this warning on November 27, and it was targeted directly at OneLife Limited, OneCoin Limited, and One Network.

That warning reads as follows –

“Banco de Portugal warns that OneLife Network Limited (Belize), OneCoin Limited (Dubai) and One Network Services Ltd (Bulgaria), acting in their own name or through third parties, under the trading name “Onecoin” and “Onelife”, are not on this date and never were authorized – in Portuguese territory – to accept deposits or other repayable funds (nor to carry on any other financial activity subject to the supervision of Banco de Portugal).”

According to Portuguese law, company’s can only “accept deposits or other repayable funds” on a national level if they’re first authorized to do so by Banco de Portugal.

OneCoin Scam

Seeing as how OneCoin isn’t certified in these regards, the company has been operating as an illegal entity ever since it was first created.

OneCoin is in some deep trouble at the moment, and while a lot of affiliates have since chosen to jump ship, those that remain are currently scrambling to figure out how in the world they can recover lost funds of theirs.

OneCoin continues to make promises to affiliates that there are new business plans in the world that’ll turn things around, but as you could probably guess, not a single thing has come of these.

Ruja Ignatova – OneCoin’s founder – officially ditched the company not all that long ago, and they currently remain in hiding.

It’s clear that OneCoin will soon be gone and forgotten, and this latest blow from Portugal seems like yet another nail in the company’s inevitable coffin.
