What Is The Total Life Changes Opportunity?

It’s safe to say that 2020 has been an odd and challenging year for the entire planet. The ongoing pandemic has upended just about every aspect of our lives in ways we could have never imagined, and naturally, this trickled into the MLM space.

One of the big aspects of many MLM companies is hosting large events and get-togethers for affiliates and customers alike. That obviously can’t happen this year, so brands have been trying to find new ways to go about this.

Total Life Changes (commonly referred to as TLC) recently found itself in this very situation, as the company is getting ready to host its first-ever virtual 5K. TLC members are asked to walk or run a distance of 5-kilometers wherever they’d like, and it takes place on August 22.

The 5K is being used to raise money for Focus: HOPE, which is a charity based out of Detroit. Total Life Changes is hoping to raise $20,000 in donations, and as of right now, it already has more than $18,000.

Total Life Changes Scam

Focus: HOPE was initially founded back in 1967 by Eleanor M. Josaitis and Farther Wiliam T. Cunningham. The two wanted an organization that would promote real change and good for people of the city, so the money that TLC raises is going to a great cause.

Commenting on all of this during an August 13 broadcast, Jennifer Presley said:

“Focus: HOPE came about in 1968. And since then, we have been able to feed over 42,000 seniors a month. Despite what’s going on, our seniors still need to get fed every month, and the money that’s being raised today is going to our seniors… And also that money will be going to our Early Learning, where we house over 244 children, and we educate their families on better practices, health initiatives that they can start, we have a fathers program, a doula program, and this is a little to no cost to the families as well as their kids.”

Furthermore, TLC Director of Events, Tricia Crawford, said:

“Focus: HOPE is the identity of what Detroit stands for. We thought their mission much aligned with Total Life Changes’ Core Values, and we thought it was a perfect fit. They walk the walk and talk the talk, and they have so many different avenues in which they help people.

I think we will make a very significant impact on our goal because this is the largest donation we have ever received from our Life Changers. We have been doing events every month for years, and this is the foundation that people have felt the most connected to, and they are empowered to donate to them. They are leading the charge for change.”

Hosting a virtual 5K in place of a physical one is certainly a lot different from what most people are likely used to, but it should actually come with some benefits. Seeing as how people can partake in the 5K from wherever they want, it should be much easier to participate than a traditional one.

It remains to be seen if TLC will stick with this virtual model for the years ahead, but at the very least, a lot of money is being donated to an awesome organization. At the end of the day, that’s all that matters.
