What Is Usana Exactly?

In today’s review, I’m going to be reviewing an MLM company by the name of Usana. Usana is an opportunity with a strong focus on direct selling, and it operates in the niche of health and wellness (an area that’s proven to be extremely profitable and popular over the years).

Usana is currently owned and operated by that of Dr. Myron Wentz, and this is someone who’s always possessed the idea that the world can easily be a better place and free of all disease if people simply take the right and proper nutrition.

This is a rather powerful idea, and it appears to be the main backbone for all of Usana’s operations.

In addition to this belief, Wentz has also previously worked as a contagious disease expert, in addition to her time as the director of a microbiology and immunology laboratory at three different hospitals in the Peoria area.

Dr. Wentz first got started in this field when hey founded Gull Laboratories in the year 1974, and three years after its founding, numerous essays that Wentz had written went rather viral and were quickly approved and accepted by the FDA – no small feat at all.

Fast forward to 1992, and Wentz decided that it was time to sell Gull Laboratories and go on to launch Usana Health Science.

That is the company that I’m reviewing today, and without any further ado, let’s get things started.

Usana Scam

What Will I Be Selling With Usana?

In regards to the product line that Usana is advertising and offering, we’re dealing with a heap of products that all serve the same goal of making its users as healthy as possible.

There are a lot of different products currently available that you can choose from, with the main categories for all of the products including the following –

  • Nutritionals – These sort of products include the likes of anti-oxidants, vitamins, and other minerals.
  • Diet and Energy – As the name suggests, products in this category aim to help people lose weight and maintain a healthy diet. Products here take the form of energy drinks, meal replacement shakes, protein supplements, and more.
  • Personal Care – Maintaining a healthy life also means that you need to take care of your physicality, and because of this, the Personal Care products that Usana sells includes the likes of shampoo, soap, etc.

The products that Usana sells do tend to range a bit on the pricer side of things, but there’s no doubt at all that the quality is some of the best you’re going to find. Only people who are really involved in the world of personal care and wellness are likely going to be the ones who are willing to pay a premium for these products, but once you find those customers, trying to sell these items shouldn’t be too difficult at all.

Another strong aspect for the Usana product line has to do with the fact that all of the products have been approved for use by the FDA. This is something that many opportunities in the health and wellness niche often overlook, but it’s a very important step to keep in mind as it helps to sell the legitimacy of the products in question.

What Should I Know About The Compensation Plan For Usana?

Moving right along to the compensation plan side of things, affiliates for Usana earn cash by selling products to retail customers and recruiting other individuals to join the company and do the same thing.

When it comes to retail sales, affiliates must first purchase products from the Usana website at a discounted price. Affiliates then try to sell theses products to retail customers at a higher cost, and the rate of commission that’s offered for this activity is 10%.

In addition to this, affiliates are also able to get a shot at a weekly commission of 20% for sales that take place within their own personal binary system of other affiliates that they’ve recruited to join Usana as well.

Usana is a company that places a great deal of focus on direct selling, meaning that you’re going to need to be comfortable with hosting house parties and marketing products to individuals if you want a shot at earning anything of real value as an affiliate for the company.

Direct sales is something that not everyone is good at, as it does usually require you to have some sort of outgoing personality in addition to some level of experience in sales, marketing, or both.

It’s very possible to be incredibly successful with direct selling, but you need to keep in mind that there’s a bit of work involved that comes along with this form of doing business.

What’s The Membership Fee For Usana?

Upon joining Usana, you’ll be looking at a one time enrollment fee of $29.95. When you sign up, you will be given the choice to purchase one of many starter kits that come bundled with a heap of Usana products for you to market and sell to retail customers, but you’re not required to purchase these kits if you wouldn’t like to.

Is Usana Really A Scam?

If you’re like me, you’ve been researching Usana and you may have heard that it is a total scam.

From what you have read above, you may not be able to tell if it is legit or not.

So, is it really a scam?

Is Usana a scam, or can you trust the company?

My Conclusion For Usana

At the end of the day, Usana’s business opportunity is one of the best you’re going to find in the health and wellness niche in the MLM landscape.

The products are certainly a bit on the higher end of things, but the quality they possess and they testing they’ve gone through is unlike most other products you’ll find in this niche.

The compensation plan is also just as great, with a really fantastic balance between both retail sales and recruitment activity.

Direct sales is something you’re going to need to take into consideration before deciding to become an affiliate for Usana, but if this doesn’t bother you, then this is an opportunity that’s definitely worth considering joining.

I sure hope you have found all the information in this Usana Review helpful.

Some reviews may be biased or trying to sell you something else, so I wanted you to have all the details from someone not affiliate with Usana.

If you decided to move forward with Usana, you’ll still need help marketing yourself.
