What Can You Tell Me About Vantel Pearls?

Multi-level marketing is a field that seems to be ever-expanding, and as a result of this constant expansion, we’ve gotten to see some rather ingenious and interesting opportunities. Some companies decide to play it safe with product lines that are quite common in the day-to-day world, but other companies like to venture out there a bit and crated something that is rather unique.

In the case of Vantel Pearls, we’re definitely looking at the latter of the two.

Vantel Pearls was originally founded all the way back in 1990 by a Joan Hartel Cabral. The company is based and operates primarily out of Massachusetts in the United States, and according to Cabral’s personal LinkedIn profile page, she was a graduate from college in 1982 – with no actually name of a college being given.

When taking a look at Cabral’s corporate bio on the Vantel Pearls website, it would appear that Cabral first got the idea for Vantel Pearls back in 1987. While she was on a vacation in Hawaii, Cabral took close note of oysters that were homes to pearls. Cabral was apparently immediately taken with the beauty that these oysters and their pearls possessed, and immediately got a business idea around this whole topic.

Cabral then went back to her home in Massachusetts and proceeded to open up her own little shop along the seashore where she sold oysters with pearls in them. However, wanting to be able to have more flexible hours and to spend more time with her family, Cabral went on to launch the Vantel Pearl Parties. That then spawned the Vantel Pearls company as we know it today, and that’s what we’re going to be reviewing.

So, does Vantel Pearls have the product line and compensation plan to achieve true success? Or are we looking at something that you should steer clear from?

Does Vantel Pearls Offer Any Products?

When it comes to the Vantel Pearls’ product line, the company’s main focus is on their oysters that contain real pearls for their customers. There are numerous kits with the included oysters, and each kit comes with both a canned oyster and a pendent.

Vantel Pearls provides instructions for how to obtain your pearl, and it’s as easy as simply using a butter knife to crack open the oyster that you receive. And, once you’ve successful retrieved your pearl, you can then put it into the pendent that you receive with no tools required at all.

It’s an interesting concept to say the least, and one of these kits – the Heart Cage Pearl Discovery Kit – sells for $49 on the Vantel Pearls website.

In addition to these Discovery Kits, Vantel Pearls also offers an assortment of traditional jewelry as well. These include charms, bracelets, anklets, necklaces, earrings, cage necklaces, and much more. The company really does appear to have fleshed out their product line quite a bit, and that’s always something encouraging to see.

What Kind Of Compensation Plan Does Vantel Pearls Have?

In regards to the compensation plan that Vantel Pearls has set in place, the company gives their affiliates a commission each time they’re able to sell the products to retail customers.

In addition to his, Vantel Pearls also offers residual commissions and various bonuses that are tracked based off an affiliate’s performance within the company.

Vantel Pearls Affiliate Ranks

Similar to many other MLM companies out there, Vantel Pearls has a set of various ranks that their affiliates can work their way through. Climbing higher through these ranks is achieved by increasing the overall quality and quantity of your downline, so there’s definitely a push towards recruitment here.

Commission Qualifications

In order to be eligible to start earning commissions as an affiliate for Vantel Pearls, you’ll need to first generate a minimum amount of $500 through personal sales over the course of 2 back-to-back months.

Vantel Pearls makes it very clear in their compensation plan that an affiliate’s own purchase of the company’s product line does not count at all to the $500 personal sales that the affiliate needs to make. This helps to go against a monthly autoship, and encourages actual retail sales to take place.

Retail Commissions

When looking at retail commissions, all affiliates will start out earning a flat rate of 25% for every product that they sell. So, if an affiliate sells $100 worth of products, they would earn a $25 commission.

However, depending on your rank within the company and if you’re able to also generate at least $4000 each month with your personal sales, that rate will go up.

If you’re able to work your way up high enough through the company’s ranks, you could be looking at a commission rate as great as 41%.

Residual Commissions

In addition to these retail commissions, affiliates for the company can also earn some cash through that of residual commissions. These commissions are organized through a unilevel payment system, and the amount of different levels than an affiliate can earn on is entirely dependent on the rank of the affiliate in question.

Conclusion for Vantel Pearls

The jewelry industry on its own is one of the most popular ones in the world of MLM, but the nature of buying canned oysters to then retrieve pearls out of is certainly something that is quite unique.

When looking around on sites like Amazon and eBay, it can be easily discovered that canned oysters with pearls inside of them range from anywhere between about $5 and $8 on average. Vantel Pearls is certainly charging quite a bit more for their products, but the company is really trying to sell the experience of opening up your oyster with all your friends gathered around and being truly surprised by what you find.

In fact, Vantel Pearls puts a pretty strong emphasis on hosting parties to market and sell their products. The company actually requires that affiliates host a minimum of 3 parties within 35 days of signing on as a member, but they don’t go into any detail as to what happens if this qualification is not met.

These parties serve as a great way for both retail sales and recruitment of affiliates to take place, and is a great way to develop a personal connection with your customers and potential downline.

In regard to the Vantel Pearls’ compensation plan, the company looks to have a pretty solid system set in place.

If you want to make money as an affiliate, you need to make retail sales. If you aren’t making retail sales, you aren’t making money. And, better yet, purchasing products for yourself don’t count towards any quotas that you need to make.

That’s how MLM should operate, and it’s a shame that so few companies actually work this way nowadays.

Overall, Vantel Pearls looks to offer a legit opportunity for anyone that’s interested in it. The idea of paying a high price to get a piece of jewelry from an oyster is certainly unique, so be sure that there’s an interest for this in your area before you decide to sign up as an affiliate.

With the right marketing and selling techniques put into effect, there’s a really good chance to make some solid money here.

If you decide to sign on as an affiliate, we wish you the best of luck!
