What The Heck Is YoCoin?

Upon reviewing the YoCoin website it became clear that there was no indication of who runs or even owns the business.

The address on the website suggests that the business is in Bangkok, Thailand. However, further research revealed that this address does not belong to YoCoin, but rather a company called Regus who sells virtual office space.

This suggests that YoCoin exists in Thailand by name only.

The website domain (“yocoin.org”) for YoCoin was originally registered on December 3, 2015, but the registration is set to private.

It is estimated by Alexa that 30 percent of traffic to the YoCoin website is a product of India.

Because this MLM company is not upfront about who they are, who is running the business, who owns it and where it is headquartered it is suggested that you think twice about giving them money or joining the organization.

YoCoin Scam

What Are The YoCoin Products?

YoCoin’s website reveals that the company has no retailable services or products.

YoCoin is a decentralized digital currency that allows for peer-to-peer money transfers online. Attached to the company’s MLM opportunity is the YoCoin cryptocurrency.

YoCoin was first listed by CoinMarketCap in January of 2016. It appears as though the launch of YoCoin cryptocurrency preceded that of YoCoin MLM opportunity.

The value of YoCoin is currently 0.00025 BTC or 17 US cents.

The lack of proper retailable products is a huge problem by the way.

The authorities absolutely hate it when a business does not have proper products that can be sold regardless of the “opportunity” side of things.

Thankfully, there are other opportunities out there with retailable products, and one such company is Digital Altitude which I looked at recently. It introduces real marketing products and coaching services which can be used to build any business.

What About The Compensation Plan For YoCoin?

The way the YoCoin compensation plan works is that it pays members to recruit new YoCoin affiliates.

Direct Recruitment Commission

Whenever a YoCoin member recruits a new affiliate who then invests in the cryptocurrency, they are compensated 10 percent of what the new affiliate invests.

Residual Recruitment Commission

Through the residual recruitment commission plan YoCoin are paid via a structure plan that is similar to a binary structure. This type of payment structure allocates a YoCoin member at the top of a binary team, which is then split into two sides (i.e. the right and the left).

As required, subsequent levels of the binary team will be generated as necessary, with each subsequent level housing two times as many positions as the previous level.

Positions of the binary team are apparently filled by way of indirect and direct recruitment through new YoCoin affiliates.

In order for a YoCoin affiliate to qualify for binary commissions they must first recruit two new members to their team.

Every week the funds that are invested by both sides of the binary team are tallied and YoCoin affiliates are then paid 10 percent of the funds invested by the weaker of the two binary sides.

So, how much can a YoCoin member actually make through this binary commission structure? Each week there is a cap of which is based on the amount that they have invested, in addition to their recruited members. Consider this:

  • A $50 investment could return up to $500 a week in binary commissions
  • A $100 investment could return up to $1,000 a week in binary commissions
  • A $500 investment could return up to $5,000 a week in binary commissions
  • A $1,000 investment could return up to $8,000 a week in binary commissions
  • A $2,000 investment could return up to $12,000 a week in binary commissions
  • A $5,000 investment could return up to $20,000 a week in binary commissions
  • A $10,000 investment could return up to $35,000 a week in binary commissions

Take note that a limit of $2,000 of a member’s own investment can be counted, the remainder must be obtained from recruited members.

YoCoin Compensation Plan

When a YoCoin member invests in the cryptocurrency, they will begin to receive YoCoins within 30 days of their original investment and they will continue to receive payment at the rate of 5 percent of coins invested on a weekly basis.

The Binary Matching Bonus

The binary matching bonus allows affiliates to be paid a 10 percent matching bonus on the commissions earned through personally recruited binary team members.

The Benefits YoCoin Offers

1 percent of company-wide invested funds are placed into a YoClub Benefits pool. Annually the entire contents of the pool is divided amongst YoClub affiliates.

In order to qualify to become a YoClub member, a YoCoin affiliate must first generate $10,000 in a month on both sides of their binary team. In addition, each subsequent month they must also be able to recruit new YoCoin affiliates who have invested at least $1,000.

In addition to payouts on the company-wide dividend, YoClub members receive an additional 10 percent match on the binary commissions paid by their personally recruited affiliates.

YoClub members also receive the residual binary matching commission, to be paid out to two levels of additional recruitment. The binary match is 10 percent on the second level and 15 percent on the third level.

Commission Withdrawal Fees

If an affiliate converts their virtual wallet to tangible moneys YoCoin charges a 10 percent withdrawal fee.

Reinvestment – Mandatory

A mandatory reinvestment stipulation applies to all YoCoin affiliates that states they must reinvest 30 percent of all commissions earned.

What’s The Cost Of Joining YoCoin?

The initial affiliate membership with YoCoin is free. However, in order to receive MLM commissions either the affiliate or recruited members must invest a minimum of $50.

Given the compensation structure, the more YoCoin that an affiliate invests initially (with a max of $2,000) the more opportunity for earning through YoCoin’s compensation plan.

Finally, My YoCoin Review And Conclusion!

The birth of YoCoin comes about as a result of the pioneered success with cryptocurrency by Bitcoin. YoCoin is yet another MLM cryptocurrency jumping on the bandwagon with Bitcoin.

The structure of YoCoin combines a pump and dump altcoin with a pyramid scheme.

The anonymous owners of YoCoin have been mining their cryptocurrency since January and have since launched an MLM opportunity allowing affiliates to buy coins from them.

It appears that the hope is that this MLM opportunity will allow for enough generation of artificial demand to permit the owners to eventually flip a profit on offloading the coins to YoCoin members.

Since the purchasing of an arguably worthless altcoin is not something that can be expected to take off, YoCoin has instilled the pyramid style commission structure to encourage affiliates to recruit members. With YoCoin there is no way to avoid having to recruit affiliates in order to get paid, given the pyramid scheme nature of their compensation structure. YoCoin affiliate fees quite obviously raise speculation and security concerns due to the nature of investment requirements.

YoCoin’s website does not mention having been registered with the SEC or any other securities regulator. Given that they do not mention the involvement of a securities regulator this means that YoCoin MLM is basically offering unregistered securities, which cause further scrutiny.

If YoCoin is not shut down by regulators then this cryptocurrency will inevitably see a minor increase in the value of the coin thanks to new affiliate recruitment incentives.

YoCoin’s founders, whomever they might be, will dump on members and see an increase in profit.

Since there is no organic demand or even a use really for YoCoin aside from the MLM opportunity, the value of the coin is destined to plummet as soon as recruitment rates drop.

Given the nature of an unregistered and unregulated MLM cryptocurrency, it seems to be an inevitable fate of YoCoin affiliates that they will eventually be left with worthless altcoins of no value. By this time, the anonymous owners of YoCoin will have already made their money and thus wipe their hands clean of any further responsibility staking claims that the value of the coin is simply out of their control.

Since the collapse of the MLM opportunity there is no demand for YoCoin, but there is an abundant supply.

In the meantime, as a YoCoin affiliate, you can sit back and watch as the laws of economics come into play and the value of your YoCoin is driven down to zero. For those YoCoin affiliates that do not earn enough through recruitment commissions to cover the initial cost of their YoCoin investment, will ultimately lose out.

Hopefully, you have found my YoCoin Review useful.
I wanted to give a lot of details because there have been other review of YoCoin which were a bit thin on the detail side.
No matter what happens, if you really want to succeed with any business, you have to learn how to market properly.
